What to consider when planning production
When developing a company's business plan, it is necessary to take into account that the cost of raw materials and supplies, the size of employees' salaries, and the price of goods are determined based on market conditions and are the same for all competitors. The profit of an organization depends only on how effectively its internal processes are built.
As is known, surplus value consists of two types of production processes: assembly/disassembly and processing.
All other processes that exist in production are either auxiliary and in themselves have no particular value, or are a consequence of poor production organization and must be promptly eliminated.
Auxiliary processes include the following operations: movement, unpacking, installation, inspection, preparation for work, control, etc. For effective organization of production, all these actions must be minimized or eliminated altogether. The consequence of a poorly organized production process is downtime associated with waiting for some equipment, delivery or supply of necessary raw materials and materials. As a result, the enterprise's activities become unprofitable.
According to the heads of the main workshops of the organization that directly produce the products, mass production of goods is more profitable, since there is no need to waste time on readjusting equipment. But in reality, they do not take into account the costs that the enterprise incurs due to the presence of excess warehouse stocks of raw materials, materials and components, as well as the costs of storing a large volume of finished products. Such a problem as overproduction is also not taken into account, which includes costs for both materials and manufacturing
