What is a hashtag?
It is a label or word with the symbol "#" - a grid, which is used mainly on Instagram . It is a country email list link that allows people who do not follow you on Instagram to find you . A hashtag can therefore also be a keyword that new potential customers can use to find you .
We can use hashtags on both FB and IG, but there is a difference between the usage. If you want to know more about presenting your work on social networks, read the article Social networks you can't miss .

Hashtags – the difference in use on Facebook and Instagram
Hashtags on Facebook are mainly used as the main slogan or keyword of a FB campaign or competition. For example, in a competition post, where the condition for participation was to add a photo using the main hashtag. The competition organizer then entered the competition hashtag into the FB search and based on that, saw all posts with the given hashtag, as well as all participants.

On Instagram, hashtags are used to increase the reach of your posts . They also help people who might be your future clients find you. That's why they're so important.
How many hashtags to use?
You can add more hashtags on IG (compared to FB, where one is recommended). On Instagram, you can add up to 60 (first 30 in a comment without hashtags in the description and then edit the text of the post where you add the hashtags). However, I do not recommend this, because it is a mass, almost spammy method and, moreover, an unaesthetic element in your post. The ideal number is around 10-15 hashtags per post. ( Source )
It's important to know that hashtags are not the first words you see. They're also not the words that come to mind when you look at the photo or video you're posting. You should choose your hashtags carefully.
